About Us

We offer Partial Hospitalization (PHP) and other outpatient services.   We are a multi-disciplinary team of mental health professionals who work in collaboration with you. Together, we will develop an appropriate treatment plan based upon your unique situation and reason for seeking treatment at this time. You are the foremost member of our treatment team, which includes board certified psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, marriage and family therapists and registered nurses.  The therapist assigned to you can be helpful in providing individual support and coaching.  The psychiatrist assigned to you will consult with you once each week to prescribe medication, as needed.  Seeing a psychiatrist this frequently may give you more of an opportunity for medication changes and adjustments, as indicated.

During your first day with us, we will begin to identify  the type of treatment and specific coping skills which  are likely to have the most immediate and positive impact in your life. Whether you attend one session or several, we strive to maximize the benefit you derive from each day of treatment. One of the ways we do this is by encouraging you to practice your newly learned skills as soon as possible, but at your own pace. Some individuals will begin to practice their new coping skills following  the first day of treatment.  Others may take several weeks. The more you apply your new skills in real life situations during treatment, the more likely you are to use these skills long after you leave treatment with us.  On your second day , your treatment team will be eager to hear how your skills practice went in your "real life" outside of treatment. Based upon your on-going feedback, we'll continuously refine your treatment plan to keep pace with the progress you make.

I am a licensed psychologist. In my role as Director of Outpatient Services, I have developed a comprehensive treatment program which offers you important coping skills. These skills have provided numerous patients, over the years, with the opportunity to positively change the quality of their lives.

Our Chemical Dependency Program is based upon the premise that chemical dependency is a physical, mental, social and spiritual illness.  During your participation in this program, you will be introduced to the Bio -Psycho-Social model of recovery. The skilled staff will encourage  your active participation, while providing you with individual and group counseling, peer interaction and interactive journaling.   The comprehensive program also provides family sessions and free aftercare.
